Amgen, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) is discussing data from its supplemental Biologics License Application for Xgeva to treat men with castration-resistant prostate cancer at high risk of developing bone metastases at today’s FDA’s Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee meeting. Deutsche Bank, in a mid-morning note to investors, said the meeting is not progressing well and that the panel is unlikely to recommend approval.

The shares closed at $68.07, down $1.1, or 1.59%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $54.18 billion.

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE): Nestle (NSRGY) emerged as the leader to buy Pfizer’s (NYSE:PFE) $10B Wyeth infant nutrition business as it battles Danone (DANOY), reports Reuters. Mead Johnson (NYSE:MJN) and Heinz (NYSE:HNZ) are also involved in the second round, it was reported yesterday.

The shares closed at $21.01, down $0.04, or 0.19%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $161.50 billion.

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ): Watson Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:WPI) announced earlier that its subsidiary, Watson Laboratories, has reached a settlement with Janssen Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:JNJ) on outstanding patent litigation related to Watson’s generic version of Janssen’s Ortho Tri-Cyclen LO tablets. As part of the settlement, the parties have entered into a supply agreement whereby Janssen will manufacture and supply Watson with an authorized generic version of Ortho Tri-Cyclen LO. Watson will have the right to market and distribute the authorized generic on December 31, 2015, or earlier under certain circumstances. Other details of the settlement were not disclosed.

The shares closed at $65.24, down $0.02, or 0.03%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $178.16 billion.

Sangamo Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:SGMO) reports Q4 revenue $4.75M vs. consensus $3.41M.

The shares closed at $4.78, up $0.28, or 6.22%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $250.82 million.

Curis, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRIS) reports revenue $14.1M vs. consensus $10.16M.

The shares closed at $5.10, down $0.37, or 6.76%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $390.56 million.
