Shares of Allscripts-Mysis Healthcare Solutions (NASDAQ:MDRX) jumped Friday on word that it’s considering being sold. Observers are not surprised, as its major shareholder HealthCor had been calling for such a move earlier in 2012. In the meantime, the group has seen three of its own nominees added to the board, which only helps to push its position. Shares of other medical records firms Quality Systems (NASDAQ:QSII), and Cerner Corporation (NASDAQ:CERN) also moved up notably on the day.
