Wall St. Revenue Expectations: On average, analysts predict $6.3 billion in revenue this quarter, a rise of 11.7% from the year-ago quarter. Analysts are forecasting total revenue of $23.04 billion for the year, a rise of 5.3% from last year’s revenue of $21.87 billion.
Analyst Ratings: There are mostly holds on the stock with nine of 17 analysts surveyed giving that rating.
On the top line, the company is hoping to build on a revenue increase last quarter. Revenue fell 15.3% in the second quarter after increasing in the third quarter.
A Look Back: In the third quarter, profit remained level at $401 million (83 cents a share) from the year earlier, missing analyst estimates. Revenue rose 42.5% to $6.44 billion from $4.52 billion.
