Gilat Satellite Network (NASDAQ:GILT): Closing price $5.45
The TATA Group division of Nelco and Bharti Airtel have named Gilat to supply secured satellite-based communications as the primary mode of connectivity for as many as 30,000 ATM sites throughout India. The arrangement forms a part of the country’s Ministry of Finance ATM initiative that is trageted towards making financial services accessible to a greater audience across India, regardless of income, with the deployment of thousands of new ATM sites countrywide. Shares closed up 1.87 on the day percent at $5.45, and have traded in a 52-week range of $2.31 to $5.60.
