Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB): There have been rumors worldwide that private messages have been showing up publicly on Timeline pages. However, the company has continued to deny such claims, stating that the messages are actually only old wall posts. Numerous reports have come from France, including some fromMetro France and Le Nouvel Observateur, and they claim that Facebook members’s private messages from years ago are showing up on public posts.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): Leaders at Google continue to take shots at Apple’s new maps application. Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt (previously CEO) stated that Apple should have kept Google’s maps application instead of using its own faulty maps application, which has been called inferior to Google’s app.
Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) Chairman Schmidt stated that it would be Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) decision whether or not it wishes to approve the Google maps for the Apple operating system. This comes after a plethora of criticism regarding Apple’s own app.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT): Following the launch of its Windows Server 2012, which was the first cloud-based server, Microsoft will attempt to enter the world of mobile devices and tablets. “There is a vast opportunity of 400+ million devices that surpass the Android platform and iPhones. These applications are not standalone and they are all connected,” stated Microsoft Server and Tools Business president Satya Nadella.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC): Sharp (SHCAY) has suggested a new restructuring plan to its lenders, according to the Wall Street Journal. The plan addresses job cuts of more than 10,000 employees and selling assets including overseas plants. A source also claims that Sharp has had conversations with Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) regarding a partnership involving the provision of small and mid-sized LCD technology.
