Google Releases Updated iPhone Map App and 1 Stock Leaping to 52-Week Highs

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) submits an updated iOS 6 version of its Google Maps application to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) for approval, but the process could take quite a bit of time, say sources to 9to5Mac, citing other tech blog reports. Shares closed up 0.81 percent on the day at $733.99, having been traded in a 52-week range of $480.60 to $731.38.

KB Home (NYSE:KBH) Chief Executive Jeffrey Mezger remarked that “It is clear that the recovery in housing is gaining momentum across the country as inventory levels are declining and home prices are on the rise. In particular, we are seeing dramatic improvement in California, where we are the state’s largest homebuilder, as the continued strengthening in the coastal markets is now spreading inland to Sacramento, the Central Valley and the Inland Empire.” Shares closed up 16.4 percent on the day at $15.26, and have been traded in a 52-week range of $5.02 to $13.65.
