Google Drive Mishap Pumps the Brake on Productivity

After investigating reports that users of Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Drive program were unable to access their accounts, Google has said that the service has been restored to the cloud-based document system.

At about 10:15 AM EST on Monday, Google said it was looking into claims made by users that they were unable to access Drive, and two hours later, posted an update signaling that the matter “should be resolved.”

“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support,” Google said in a service update. “Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better”…
