Google Glass is Looking Good

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) is dressing to impress. Partnering with Diane Von Furstenberg, models wearing Google’s $1,500 Google Glasses and matching outfits hit the catwalk during New York City’s fashion week.

Google Project X head Sergey Brin said, “beauty, style, and comfort are as important to Glass as the latest technology.” The glasses enable users to send texts, take photos, and give and receive directions. The glasses are also being used by Diane Von Furstenberg to create a short, behind-the-scenes film for the upcoming S/S13 collection, which will be screened through both Google+ and YouTube. The film will be available on September 13.

Even Rupert Murdoch, who has no allegiance to Google, seemed impressed by the Diane Von Furstenberg and Google Glass pair.
