General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) intends to recall 249,260 units of midsize sport utility vehicles (SUVs) to repair a possible fire hazard caused by an electrical short. The recall would cover Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy SUVs as well as Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X, and Isuzu Ascender SUVs, from the 2006-2007 model years. Miimo will go on sale next year, only in Europe, where spacious lawns are mostly enclosed in gates, targeting 4,000 unit sales a year. The machine, which has an appearance similar to iRobot Corp.’s Roomba vacuum cleaner, continuously shaves nearly 3 millimeters (0.12 inches) off the grass, maneuvering itself on slopes. It will not break potted plants, goes to charge itself on its own, and will not wander off. The shares traded up $0.12 (0.36%) to close at $33.35.

(NASDAQ:TSLA) Model S luxury vehicle is a “first-rate car,” but it will attract limited demand due to its high price tag, AutoNation (NYSE:AN), according to CEO Mike Jackson informed Bloomberg.
