Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) Lincoln luxury brand has gained the highest ratings in an American Customer Satisfaction survey, reports Bloomberg. The shares traded down $0.10 (1.04%) to close at $9.53.

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) intends to recall 249,260 units of midsize sport utility vehicles (SUVs) to repair a possible fire hazard caused by an electrical short. The recall would cover Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy SUVs as well as Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X, and Isuzu Ascender SUVs, from the 2006-2007 model years. The shares traded down $0.24 (1.10%) to close at $21.63.

Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) has started to sell its newly redesigned Auris compact hatchback in Japan and intends tobegin offering the model in Europe by the year’s end, according to the Nikkei. The shares traded up $0.23 (0.28%) to close at $81.90.

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (NYSE:HMC) finally has its first home product packed with its prized robotics technology, which is a sensor-equipped lawn mower. Miimo will go on sale next year, only in Europe, where spacious lawns are mostly enclosed in gates, targeting 4,000 unit sales a year. The machine, which has an appearance similar to iRobot Corp.’s Roomba vacuum cleaner, continuously shaves nearly 3 millimeters (0.12 inches) off the grass, maneuvering itself on slopes. It will not break potted plants, goes to charge itself on its own, and will not wander off. The shares traded up $0.12 (0.36%) to close at $33.35.

Tesla Motors, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) Model S luxury vehicle is a “first-rate car,” but it will attract limited demand due to its high price tag, AutoNation (NYSE:AN), according to CEO Mike Jackson informed Bloomberg. Jackson also mentioned that the Model S, which is to sell for $57,500 and over, is the best electric car he has ever seen. The shares traded down $0.40 (1.36%) to close at $29.11.
