Ford European Sales DECLINE and 4 Heavily Traded Shares Sparking Chatter

Groupon Inc (NASDAQ:GRPN) reported its first-ever quarter-to-quarter decline in gross billings on Monday. This is a closely watched number because it measures the amount of money that is collected from merchants. The amount of active customers increased only 3 percent from Q1. The average spending per customer through the past 12 months was about $165. This is a decline from the average spending of $179 during Q1.

Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE:MCP): At 08:52 EDT, Molycorp fell 11 percent to $9.98 following a downgrade, and spot secondary is at $10.00.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT): Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Sites are driven mainly by video viewing at YouTube.com, which has been ranked as the top online video content property in July with 157 million unique viewers, with Facebook.com (NASDAQ:FB) coming in second with 53 million, Yahoo! (NASDAQ:YHOO) with 48.7 million, VEVO with 44.8 million, and Microsoft’s sites with 42.7 million, reports comScore. There were almost 36.9 billion video content views during the month, with Google Sites having the highest number at 19.6 billion, followed by AOL (NYSE:AOL) with 665 million, comScore added.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) European sales dropped 12.3 percent in July amid weak demand, according to the Detroit News reports. Last month, the company sold 83,100 vehicles in European markets.

Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) announced that it will bring Zynga’s (NASDAQ:ZNGA) global hit games, Draw Something and Zynga Poker, to Nokia Asha Touch devices during Q3 of 2012 as part of a partnership that was announced earlier in the summer. Nokia Asha Touch users will soon be able to challenge their friends to a round of the popular social drawing and guessing game, or enjoy their own virtual poker match. Free downloads of Zynga’s Draw Something and Zynga Poker will both be available from Nokia Store. This announcement reinforces Nokia’s commitment providing must-have app and gaming experiences to consumers using Nokia Series 40 devices, including the Nokia Asha Touch range. Already, Nokia Asha Touch users enjoy a variety of mobile gaming experiences provided by global partners like EA (NASDAQ:ERTS), Gameloft, Rovio, NAMCO BANDAI and now, Zynga.
