(NASDAQ:VRA):  Following the company’s second quarter results, Jefferies lowered their price target for Vera Bradley, Inc.  The firm says Vera’s top line growth in the second quarter was driven by promotions and their gross margin was reduced again. There is a Hold rating on the stock.

CareFusion Corporation (NYSE:CFN):  Piper Jaffray believes CareFusio Corporation’s disclosure that their discussions about adjusting their accounting for sales type leases, will likely result in little or no change in their policies. The firm does not expect last night’s announcement to have a significant impact on shares. They remain a buyer of the stock at current levels.

Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB):  Piper Jaffray believes that negative sentiment about Facebook, Inc. shares has likely peaked and in the large cap tech sector Facebook stock could be one of the best names to own.  Piper views the company’s shares as having the greatest discount for future potential growth and added that while investors may continue to get rid the stock, through the November share lockup expiration, history indicates that it is unlikely shares will be impacted. Piper keeps a Buy rating on Facebook with a $41 price target.

LyondellBasell Industries NV (NYSE:LYB):  Barclays said that LyondellBasell Industries NV, remains the best story in the chemical group since ethylene is near a trough, there is a natural gas cost advantage vs. oil, there are continued operating improvements, an attractive free cash flow, and good reinvestment opportunities. Shares are Overweight rated.

VeriFone Systems, Inc (NYSE:PAY):  Citigroup believes VeriFone Systems, Inc.’s third quarter results on September 5, should show fundamental strength and help alleviate the stock’s depressed valuation multiple. The firm keeps a Buy rating on the name with a $55 price target ahead of the earnings report.
