Facebook In Jobs Initiative, Pandora Starts New Coverage: Tech Business Review

The Social Jobs Partnership, which includes Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) along with the Departments of Labor and other workforce agencies, introduced a novel Social Jobs Application on Wednesday through which employers and head hunters may share listings with the Facebook community. Initially, the app has 1.7 million listings, which may be sorted as to location, skill sets, and industry. Observers might wonder if this is a move on Facebook’s part to take on LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD) in the listings market.

Pandora Media (NYSE:P) has began coverage at National Alliance with Market Perform and a price target of $7.83. Shares closed Tuesday at $7.66, but are down substantially on the day Wednesday.
