Germany-based Eyeo, creator of the immensely popular PC-based ad blocking software called Ad Block Plus, is set to launch the mobile version of this software tomorrow, according to the Financial Times. This is likely to pile up the pressure on websites such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) which have been trying to boost advertising revenues from their rapidly-increasing mobile user base.

The five-day box office takings this Thanksgiving Day weekend hit $290 million, marking a new record.  Hollywood productions that raked it in were  ”The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2″ ($64 million) from Lions Gate’s (NYSE:LGF), “Rise of the Guardians” ($32.6 million) from DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc (NASDAQ:DWA) and “Life of Pi” ($30.2 million) from News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA).
