Electronic Arts Inc.’s (NASDAQ:EA) rights to Need for Speed franchise is acquired by DreamWorks (NASDAQ:DWA), which will fast-track the project so that production could start as early as 2013. Shares have traded in a range between $11.98 and $26.13 in the last 52 weeks.
Forest Oil Corp. (NYSE:FST) says that the firm’s board has appointed Patrick McDonald as Interim CEO, effective immediately. The current CEO H. Craig Clark obtained that position as well as that of President and director, in July 2003. Spencer Stuart has been retained by Forest to assist in the search effort for a permanent CEO; McDonald, who has been a director since 2004, has asked to not be considered for that position. Shares have traded between $6.40 and $28.22 during the last 52 weeks.
Hess Corp. (NYSE:HES) has started the process of evacuating non-essential personnel from Gulf. Shares have traded between $40.91 and $77.12 in a 52-week range.
