eBay’s Same Day Service Reaches NYC: Consumer Business Recap

eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) launches its same day delivery service called “eBay Now” in New York City, which allows its customers in Manhattan up to 125th Street and to the western edge of Brooklyn access to the same day delivery inventory which is available in hundreds of local stores like Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT), Macy’s (NYSE:M), Best Buy Co. (NYSE:BBY), and Walgreen (NYSE:WAG). In order to get customers to use the application, eBay is taking the $15 charge off of the users’ first orders and also making the first three deliveries free of charge.
