Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) is on deck to issue yet another recall this year, prompting concerns from consumers and investors alike that the company may be suffering from a lack of quality control.
Ford’s top competitors Toyota (NYSE:TM) and General Motors (NYSE:GM) have had their share of recalls recently, but Ford’s list is rapidly becoming something for the history books — particularly for the Escape SUV. Here’s an overview of this year’s Ford recalls:

July: Ford recalls 10,000 model-year 2013 Escapes for a carpeting flaw that could cause pedals to get stuck. Most of these cars were still on dealer lots.
Also in July: Ford tells customers to immediately stop driving the Escape because of a fuel-line leak that could lead to a fire. Ford issues loaner cars to 11,000 Escape owners.
September: Ford recalls 7,600 Escapes because of a possible coolant leak due to an engine plug that could become loose and fall out…
