Dividend to Know Now: Questar Corporation, Knoll Inc, Alterra Capital Holdings, GAMCO Investors, BCE Inc.

Questar Corporation (NYSE:STR): Questar raises quarterly dividend to 17c from 16.25c per share. The dividend is payable September 10 to shareholders of record on August 17.

Knoll Inc. (NYSE:KNL): Knoll increases dividend 20% to 12c. Knoll announced that the Company’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 12c per share payable September 28 to all shareholders of record on September 14. Company “Today our board approved a 20% increase in our quarterly dividend, reflecting our confidence in the business outlook and our strong balance sheet.”

Alterra Capital Holdings Limited (NASDAQ:ALTE): Alterra Capital increases dividend 14.3% to 16c. Alterra Capital Holdings announced that Alterra’s Board of Directors declared a dividend of 16c per share, an increase of 2c, or 14.3%, from the previous dividend. This is the eleventh consecutive year of increasing quarterly dividend payments. The dividend is payable on September 4 to shareholders of record as of August 21.

GAMCO Investors, Inc. (NYSE:GBL): GAMCO Investors increases quarterly dividend by 25% to 5c . GAMCO announced that its board increased its quarterly dividend by 25% to 5c per share to all of its Class A and Class B shareholders in addition to declaring a special dividend of 25c per share payable on September 25, to its Class A and Class B shareholders of record on September 11.

BCE, Inc. (NYSE:BCE): BCE Inc increases annual dividend to $2.27 from C$2.17.
