Dividend Changes to Know Now: V.F. Corp, Waste Connections, Noble Energy, Paychex

V.F. Corporation (NYSE:VFC): VF Corp. increases quarterly dividend 21% to 87c per share. VF’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 87c per share, reflecting a 15c or 21% increase over the previous quarter’s dividend. The dividend is payable December 20, 2012 to shareholders of record on December 10, 2012. This marks the 40th consecutive year of higher dividend payments to shareholders.

Waste Connections Inc. (NYSE:WCN): Waste Connections increases dividend 11.1% to 10c per share. Waste Connections announced that its board of directors has declared an 11.1% increase in the regular quarterly cash dividend on the company’s common stock. The regular quarterly cash dividend, which increases from 9c per share to 10c per share, is payable on November 19, to stockholders of record on the close of business on November 5. The board intends to review the quarterly dividend each October.

Noble Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NBL): Noble Energy raises quarterly dividend to 25c from 22c per share. The dividend is payable November 19 to the shareholders of record on November 5.

Paychex Inc. (NASDAQ:PAYX): Paychex increases dividend to 33c, authorizes $350M stock buyback. The Board of Directors of Paychex declared a 1c increase in the company’s regular quarterly dividend. The 33c per share dividend is payable November 15 to shareholders of record November 2. The company also announced that the Board has authorized the purchase of up to $350M of its common stock. The end date for the authorization is May 31, 2014.
