Dividend Changes to Know Now: Techne, Washington Banking Co., Peoples Bancorp, Rockville Financial, Macerich

Techne Corp. (NASDAQ:TECH): Techne increases dividend to 30c per share from 28c. Techne Corporation announced that its board of directors has decided to pay a dividend of 30c per share for the quarter ended September 30. The quarterly dividend will be payable November 19 to all common shareholders of record on November 5. Techne’s board of directors also authorized the repurchase of an additional $100M of the company’s common stock in connection with its ongoing share repurchase program, which does not have an expiration date.

Washington Banking Co. (NASDAQ:WBCO): Washington Banking increases dividend to 15c from 9c. Washington Banking Company, the holding company for Whidbey Island Bank, announced that the board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 15c per common share to shareholders of record on November 5 and payable on November 20.

Peoples Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ:PEBO): Peoples Bancorp increases dividend 9% to 12c per share. The board of directors of Peoples Bancorp declared a cash dividend of 12c per common share, representing a 9% increase from last quarter’s dividend and a 20% increase over the dividend paid a year ago. This quarterly dividend is payable on November 19 to common shareholders of record on November 5.

Rockville Financial Inc. (NASDAQ:RCKB): Rockville Financial raises quarterly dividend to 10c vs 9c.

Macerich Co. (NYSE:MAC): Macerich increases dividend 5.5% to 58c per share. The board of directors of The Macerich Company declared a quarterly cash dividend of 58c per share of common stock. This reflects a 5.5% increase in the quarterly dividend. The dividend is payable on December 7 to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 12.
