Dividend Changes to Know Now: Realty Income Corp., Parkway Properties, Cincinnati Financial Corp., MGE Energy, Towers Watson & Co.

Realty Income Corp. (NYSE:O): Realty Income announced a monthly dividend increase of 3.4% . Realty Income announced that its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company’s common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.151125 per share from $0.146125 per share. The dividend is payable on Sept. 17 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 4. This is the 67th dividend increase since Realty Income went public in 1994. The new monthly dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $1.8135 per share as compared to the previous annualized dividend amount of $1.7535 per share. The company continues its long-term policy of declaring and paying dividends on a monthly, rather than on a quarterly, basis. Parkway Properties Inc. (NYSE:PKY): Parkway Properties increases dividend 50% to 11.25c. Parkway Properties announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 11.25c per share, a 50% increase from the prior quarterly amount and higher than the previously announced anticipated increase. The dividend is payable on September 26, to shareholders of record for Common Stock on September 12.

Cincinnati Financial Corp. (NASDAQ:CINF): Cincinnati Financial increases regular quarterly cash dividend. Cincinnati Financial Corporation announced the executive committee of its board has declared a 40.75c per share regular quarterly cash dividend, increasing from the previous 40.25c per share rate for the dividend that was paid on July 16. The dividend is payable October 15 to shareholders of record as of September 19. At the new level, the indicated annual dividend is $1.63 per share. In 2011, cash dividends paid were $1.6025 per share and dividends declared were $1.605 per share.

MGE Energy Inc. (NASDAQ:MGEE): MGE Energy increases quarterly dividend. The board of MGE Energy increased the regular quarterly dividend to 39.51c per share on the company’s common stock. The dividend is payable Sept. 15 to shareholders of record Sept. 1. With this increase, the new dividend is equivalent to an annual rate of $1.5804 per share.

Towers Watson & Co. (NYSE:TW): Towers Watson raises quarterly dividend 15% to 11.5c per share. The dividend is payable on or about October 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 28.
