Dividend Changes to Know Now: Principal Financial Group, ATRION, Home Federal Bancorp, Fifth Third Bancorp, Chemical Financial Corp

Principal Financial Group Inc. (NYSE:PFG): Principal Financial raises quarterly dividend 17% to 21c per share. The dividend will be payable on Sept. 28 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 6.

ATRION Corp. (NASDAQ:ATRI): Atrion Corporation raises quarterly dividend 14% to 56c from 49c per share. This dividend will be payable on September 28 to stockholders of record at the close of business on September 14.

Home Federal Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ:HOME): Home Federal Bancorp increases dividend to 6c. Home Federal Bancorp announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 6c per share on its common stock payable on September 18 to stockholders of record as of September 4. This represents an increase in the quarterly dividend of 9.1%.

Fifth Third Bancorp (NASDAQ:FITB): Fifth Third Bancorp announces potential dividend increase to 10c in Q3. Fifth Third Bancorp announced that the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System did not object to the proposed capital actions through March 31, 2013 included in Fifth Third’s capital plan submitted in June under the Comprehensive Capital & Analysis Review process. The capital plan included the potential increase of the quarterly common stock dividend to 10c in the Q3.

Chemical Financial Corp. (NASDAQ:CHFC): Chemical Financial raises quarterly dividend 5% to 21c from 20c per share. The third quarter dividend will be payable on September 21 to shareholders of record on September 7.
