Dividend Changes to Know Now: First of Long Island Corp., Crexus Investment Corp., Newcastle Investment Corp., ConAgra Foods, Washington Trust Bancorp

First of Long Island Corp. (NASDAQ:FLIC): First Long Island increases dividend to 25c from 23c. The First of Long Island Corporation announced the declaration of a third quarter cash dividend of 25c per share. This represents an 8.7% increase over the dividend of 23c per share declared in the same quarter last year. The dividend will be paid on October 12 to shareholders of record on October 3.

Crexus Investment Corp. (NYSE:CXS): CreXus increases dividend 5c to 32c per share, up from 27c. The board of directors of CreXus Investment Corp. declared Q3 common stock cash dividend of 32c per common share. This dividend is payable October 25 to common shareholders of record on October 1. The ex-dividend date is September 27.

Newcastle Investment Corp. (NYSE:NCT): Newcastle Investment increases Q3 dividend 10% to 22c . Newcastle Investment has declared a quarterly dividend of 22c per common share for Q3, representing a 10% increase from the prior quarter’s dividend of 20c per common share. The dividend is payable on October 31 to shareholders of record on October 1.

ConAgra Foods, Inc. (NYSE:CAG): ConAgra increases dividend for annualized rate of $1.00. In recognition of the company’s strong cash flows and earnings outlook, the board of directors of ConAgra Foods approved an increase in the company’s quarterly dividend from 24c per share to 25c per share for the payment to be made on Dec. 4, 2012, to stockholders of record at the close of business on Oct. 31, 2012. With this increase, the annualized dividend rate increases to $1.00 per share.

Washington Trust Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ:WASH): Washington Trust Bancorp raises quarterly dividend to 24c from 23c per share. The dividend will be paid on October 12 to shareholders of record on October 1.
