Community Bank System Inc. (NYSE:CBU): Community Bank System raises dividend to 27c from 26c. Community Bank System announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 27c per share on its common stock, a one cent increase in the company’s quarterly cash dividend over the same quarter of last year. The dividend will be payable on October 10 to shareholders of record as of September 14.
Brinker International Inc. (NYSE:EAT): Brinker increases dividend 25% to 20c. The Board of Directors for Brinker International declared a quarterly dividend of 20c per share on common stock, representing a 25% increase in the company’s quarterly dividend. The increased dividend will be payable on Sept. 27 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 10. Brinker’s Board of Directors also authorized an additional $500 million in share repurchases, bringing the total outstanding share repurchase authorization to $626M as of today’s date.
BancFirst Corporation (NASDAQ:BANF): BancFirst raises quarterly dividend 7.4% to 29c per share. On August 23, BancFirst Corporation’s Board of Directors approved a 29c per share cash dividend on its common stock. The dividend is payable October 15, to shareholders of record on September 30. This is an increase of 7.4% over the quarterly dividend that was paid in each of the previous four quarters. Since going public in 1993, the company has increased its dividend each year.
HCC Insurance Holdings Inc. (NYSE:HCC): HCC Insurance increases dividend to 16.5c. HCC Insurance Holdings announced its 66th consecutive quarterly cash dividend. HCC’s Board of Directors has declared a regular cash dividend of 16.5c per share on the Company’s shares of $1.00 par value common stock. The dividend is payable to stockholders of record on October 1 and will be paid on or about October 15. “Marking the 16th consecutive year in which HCC has raised its cash dividend, this increase reflects our financial stability, operating performance and commitment to shareholder value,” said John N. Molbeck, Jr., HCC’s CEO.
Viad Corp (NYSE:VVI): Viad increases quarterly dividend by 150% to 10c per common share. The board of directors of Viad increased the company’s quarterly dividend on the common stock to 10c per share from 4c per share, an increase of 150%. The dividend is payable Oct. 1, to stockholders of record Sept. 7. CEO Paul Dykstra commented: “This quarterly dividend increase reflects the Board’s confidence in the continuing growth prospects for Viad and our ability to generate sustainable cash flows. We are pleased to reward our loyal shareholders with an enhanced return.”
