Dividend Changes to Know Now: Aqua America, Dover, Sunoco Logistics Partners, Tredegar, Preferred Apartment Communities

Aqua America Inc. (NYSE:WTR): Aqua America increases dividend 6% to 17.5c. Aqua America declared a dividend increase of 1c per share from 16.5c per share to 17.5c per share for the December 1 quarterly dividend to all shareholders of record on November 16.

Dover Corp. (NYSE:DOV): Dover raises quarterly dividend 11% to 35c from 31.5c per share. This increased dividend will be paid on September 15 to shareholders of record as of August 31.

Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. (NYSE:SXL): Sunoco Logistics increases dividend 10% to 47c. Sunoco Logistics Partners announced Sunoco Partners, the general partner of the Partnership, declared a cash distribution for the Q2 of 47c per common unit to be paid on August 14 to unit holders of record on August 8. This represents a 10% increase over the Q1 cash distribution of 42.75c per common unit.

Tredegar Corp. (NYSE:TG): Tredegar raises dividend 33% to 6c per share from 5c per share. The board of Tredegar declared a quarterly dividend of 6c per share on the company’s common stock, representing a 6c or 33% increase in the dividend on an annualized basis. The dividend is payable on October 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 14.

Preferred Apartment Communities Inc. (NYSEAMEX:APTS): Preferred Apartment raises quarterly dividend to 14c per share from 13c. Preferred announced that its board has declared a quarterly dividend on its common stock of 14c per share for Q3, an increase of approximately 7.7% from the prior quarterly dividend rate of 13c per share paid to common stockholders for the first two quarters of 2012. The dividend is payable on October 15 to all common stockholders of record as of September 28.
