Dividend CHANGES to Know: Global Partners, Williams Companies, United Financial Bancorp, Legacy Reserves
Global Partners LP (NYSE:GLP) increased the quarterly dividend to 52.5c per share. Global Partners LP’s Board of Directors of its general partner, Global GP LLC, has declared a quarterly cash distribution of 52.5c per unit ($2.10 per unit on an annualized basis) on all of its outstanding common units for the period from April 1 through June 30, 2012. The distribution will be paid August 14, 2012 to unitholders of record as of the close of business August 3, 2012. The distribution to be paid in August 2012 represents a 5% increase over the quarterly distribution of 50c per unit paid in May 2012.
Williams Companies, Inc. (NYSE:WMB) increased the dividend to 31.25c per share. Williams’ board of directors has approved a regular dividend of 31.25c on the company’s common stock, payable Sept. 10, to holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 24. The increase over the previous amount of 30c per share is consistent with the company’s previously announced plan to increase its dividend more frequently – with increases every quarter. Williams continues to expect to pay a FY12 shareholder dividend of $1.20 per share, a 55% increase over 2011. As well, the company expects the full-year dividend it pays shareholders in each 2013 and 2014 to increase by 20% – to $1.44 and $1.75 per share, respectively. The expected quarterly increases in Williams’ dividend are subject to quarterly approval of Williams’ board of directors.
United Financial Bancorp (NASDAQ:UBNK) increased the dividend 11% to 10c. The Company announced an 11% increase in its quarterly cash dividend to 10c per share, payable on August 30 to shareholders of record as of August 9.
Legacy Reserves Lp (NASDAQ:LGCY) increased the quarterly dividend to 56c. The dividend, which is a 0.5c increase from the prior quarter, is payable on August 10 to unitholders of record on July 30.
