Dividend Changes on the Week: Home Bancshares, National Penn Bancshares, Mainsource Financial Group, ONEOK, Marathon Petroleum

Home Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOMB) announces 50% increase in Q3 cash dividend. Home BancShares, parent company of Centennial Bank, Board of Directors declared a regular 12c per share quarterly cash dividend payable Sept. 5, to shareholders of record Aug. 15. This cash dividend represents a 4c per share, or 50%, increase over the 8c cash dividend paid during Q3 of 2011 and is a 20% increase over the cash dividend paid during Q1 and Q2 of 2012.

National Penn Bancshares Inc. (NASDAQ:NPBC) increases Q3 dividend to 9c per share. The Board of Directors of National Penn Bancshares has declared an increased third quarter cash dividend of 9c per share payable to shareholders of record as of August 4, 2012. The cash dividend will be paid August 17, 2012.

Mainsource Financial Group (NASDAQ:MSFG) increases dividend to 3c from 1 c. Company’s Board of Directors approved a Q3 common dividend of 3c per share, which represents an increase of 2c per share from the dividend paid during the previous quarter. In order to retain as much capital as possible during the economic downturn, the Company had been paying a quarterly common dividend of 1c per share since the Q4 of FY09.

ONEOK Inc. (NYSE:OKE) raises quarterly dividend to 33c from previous 30.5c. The board of ONEOK increased the quarterly dividend to 33c per share of common stock from 30.5c per share on a post-split basis, a 2.5c per-share, or 8 percent increase, effective for Q2, payable Aug. 15, to shareholders of record at the close of business Aug. 6.

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:MPC) increases dividend to 35c per share. Marathon Petroleum announced that the board of directors declared a dividend of 35c per share on common stock, a 40% increase in its quarterly dividend. The dividend is payable Sept. 10 to shareholders of record as of the close of business Aug. 16.
