The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA): Stifel Nicolaus Managing Director William Loomis reports that a number of defense contractors in the Washington, DC area are posting guidance that implies that they predict the automatic budget cuts scheduled for January 2nd will be postponed, says The Washington Post, which quoted Loomis as commenting that the companies are “pretty adamant” that the cuts will be delayed.

The Walt Disney Company’s (NYSE:DIS) Wreck-It Ralph topped the weekend box office, debuting with its $49.1 million in tickets, while Flight, distributed by Viacom’s (NYSE:VIA)(NYSE:VIAB) Paramount Pictures, generated $25 million in its opening weekend, according to The Wall Street Journal.
