Dish Mulls DirecTV Merger, Retailers To Get Nintendo Kiosks: Consumer Biz Update

Dish Network Corporation (NASDAQ:DISH) Chief Executive Charlie Ergen, on the company’s earnings conference call, said that his firm will likely consider a merger with DirecTV (NASDAQ:DTV), although he quickly affirmed that thus far no discussions have taken place.

GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME), Best Buy Co. (NYSE:BBY), and Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) stores will have kiosks as Nintendo Co. intends to provide 5,000 demo kiosks through which retailers may showcase the new Wii U, prior to the November 18th American launch of the gaming console.
