Ford is Number One in Canada and 4 High Demand Stocks to Evaluate

Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) has filed a Form 4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission mentioning the change in the beneficial interest held by Executive VP Lawrence D. McRae, Corning. On Aug. 31 the action involved the disposition of 18,000 common stocks. Currently, McRae owns 34,370 common stocks directly.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F): On Tuesday, Ford Motor Co of Canada said that it continues to be the top-selling automaker in Canada in August and year-to-date although its sales fell due to softness in passenger cars. Ford stated that its sales slipped 1.8 percent to 25,461 in August immediately following a 29.2 percent drop in total car sales. Truck sales were up 8.1 percent.

Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE:CLF), which is a mining and natural resources company, engages in the production of iron ore pellets, fine and lump ore, and metallurgical coal. Cliffs Natural Resources Inc has fallen 40.93 percent during the year and in the last five trades has fallen 7.84 percent. The stock’s price was 56.83 percent lower than their 52-week highs and indicated a high EPS growth of 34.90 percent throughout the past five years.

Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE:ANR) trades down 4.88 percent, and it was last sold at $5.65. The stock traded up to $5.84 at its highest and as low as $5.62. Before, ANR had closed at $5.94, and 2,464,484 shares of the stock was traded today.

Sirius XM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI): Market expectations have been spot on regarding an impending push by John Malone’s Liberty Media to assume control of SiriusXM as a driver of the satellite radio giant’s stock. Also, activist investor Bill Ackman, who is the head of Pershing Square Capital Management, pushes for a proposed takeover of mall operator General Growth by Simon Property Group(SPG), in a $20 billion-plus deal which would be one of the largest U.S. acquisitions since the crisis.
