Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT): Mattel announces CEO, Robert Eckert is stepping down from the helm of the toymaker at the end of the year – ending an 11-year run. The company says he will retain his position as Chairman of the Board.

Sturm, Ruger & Company (NYSE:RGR): Shares of Sturm, Ruger turn lower after a concealed guns bill allowing state reciprocity hits a speedbump in Congress, and looks like it could face a legal challenge if passed. The stock has gained 49% over the last 6 months on enthusiasm the concealed-carry law will significantly boost gun sales across the U.S.

The shares closed at $35.58, up $2.08, or 6.21%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $677.37 million.

Commercial Vehicle Group (NASDAQ:CVGI): Commercial Vehicle Group gets hammered after missing its revenue estimates and reporting a Q2 loss on impairment and restructuring charges. Separately, the company announces it’s acquired the assets of Stratos Seating for $2.3M.

The shares closed at $9.77, up $0.57, or 6.2%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $281.07 million.

Skechers USA, Inc. (NYSE:SKX): Skechers Q3 EPS beat estimates on a research tax benefit, but overall results lag on a Y/Y basis. Sales were down 25% Y/Y, primarily due to a decline in higher priced toning footwear, plus lower than expected sales across other footwear lines as well.

The shares closed at $12.00, down $0.54, or 4.31%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $598.69 million.

DTS Inc. (NASDAQ:DTSI): Shares of DTS fall 3.6% after getting tagged with a Neutral rating from Collins Stewart with a clipped PT to $30. The firm points to “secular maturity” in the Blu-ray market as threatening future growth prospects for the tech concern.

The shares closed at $26.55, down $1.02, or 3.7%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $443.47 million.

Lydall, Inc. (NYSE:LDL): Shares of microcap Lydall plunge after the firm discloses accounting errors that cut its Q2 earnings by 4 cents a share. The company says the errors were related to the accounting for U.S. income taxes associated with dividends from a foreign subsidiary.

The shares closed at $9.41, down $0.34, or 3.49%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $161.42 million.

G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GIII): G-III Apparel lowering full-year earnings guidance but unveiling a new deal with Calvin Klein (NYSE:PVH) to open women’s sports apparel stores in the U.S. and China, building on a deal signed in 2007 for the clothing line’s wholesale wares.

The shares closed at $24.19, down $0.86, or 3.43%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $478.18 million.
