Skechers USA, Inc. (NYSE:SKX) Artisan Partners reported an 8.1% passive stake in Skechers.

The shares closed at $13.80, up $0.72, or 5.5%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $688.50 million.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) confirmed it sent General Motors (NYSE:GM) a formal letter asking GM to pull a Chevrolet Super Bowl ad that implies a Ford truck owner dies along with much of the rest of humanity as a group of Silverado owners ride out the apocalypse, the Detroit News reports. Ford is demanding that GM permanently remove the commercial from its website, YouTube and Facebook pages. GM says the ad was “good-humored”.

The shares closed at $12.96, up $0.17, or 1.33%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $49.25 billion.
