Japan and China have agreed to hold discussions about their territorial clash over a few tiny islands, which puts the shares of Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) and Honda Motor Co. (NYSE:HMC) on watch. If the talks are successful, Chinese auto buyers might brighten up again to Japanese models, which could give boosts to both companies who have already shut down some production that was meant for China. Additionally, the companies might see a lift after winning an initiation from UBS at Buy, based upon on valuation and growth potential.

At least three gambling majors, MGM Resorts International (NYSE:MGM), Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ:PENN), and Ameristar Casinos (NASDAQ:ASCA), are contending for the rights to establish a casino in Springfield, Massachusetts. There will be a sole casino operating license in the area, although state officials and voters might opt for a different arrangement.
