In a 9/11 related case, American Airlines (AAMRQ.PK) and United Continental Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:UAL) must now go to trial concerning property damage to the World Trade Center buildings, subsequent to a New York judge’s ruling that he was unable to determine if insurance payments covered the damages that World Trade Center Properties LLC is seeking. The two carriers were allegedly negligent during the terrorist incident, according to the filing.
