Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has introduced a new shopping site for environmentally conscious shoppers which will run as a standalone site. Visitors will not be aware that eco-friendly Vine.com is a site belonging to Amazon as they check out locally produced or fair trade products.

Shares of American Greetings Corporation (NYSE:AM) pop on the news that the firm has received a go-private offer of $17.18 per share from a group of investors including Chief executive Zev Weiss and Chief Operations Officer Jeffrey Weiss. The company will now create a committee to mull the group’s bid.
Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLS) shares move down Wednesday as the firm’s comprehensive reorganization plan continues to ignite worries as to how much more downside looms. Shares of its peers Office Depot Inc. (NYSE:ODP) and OfficeMax Incorporated (NYSE:OMX) dipped as well, but not to the extent of Staples’.
