Consumer Biz Recap: Disney Partners With Penney’s, Airlines Stocks To Watch

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) announces that it will be among the partners of J.C. Penney & Co. (NYSE:JCP) which will feature the new “shop within a shop” boutiques in its stores, says Women’s Wear Daily, which added that a minimum of 520 Penney’s stores will feature Disney children’s shops by next autumn.

A fresh round of fare hikes combined with a quick drop in oil futures is just what airlines wanted to hear, as optimism on their margins jumps. Shares (among many) to watch include those of United Continental Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:UAL), Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:LUV) and Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL).
