Homebuilders shares for the most part moved up, as Goldman commented that “investors should take advantage of the likely volatility in the space given U.S. homebuilders’ strong correlation with the still depressed levels of new home sales.” The research firm has thus upgraded the homebuilder sector to Attractive and elevates its ratings for M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:MDC), KB Home (NYSE:KBH) and Ryland Group, Inc. (NYSE:RYL) while dropping NVR, Inc. (NYSE:NVR) to Sell.
