Constellation Brands Wants Modelo Extension and 4 Stocks At 52-Week Highs

Measurement Specialties (NASDAQ:MEAS): Closing price $38.50

On Thursday, Measurement Specialties has reached a long term supply agreement and license agreement with Sensata Technologies Holding (NYSE:ST). The long term supply agreement ensures the company certain volumes and associated margin through 2017. The license agreement supplies the company with $11 million in royalties through 2019. Additionally, the firm will receive quarterly royalty payments linked with a license of certain intellectual property to Sensata. The impact to MEAS in its fiscal year 2014 will be a drop of about $5 million in sales, although margin on the Sensata business will improve resulting from the increased royalty. Shares closed up 0.47 percent on Friday at $38.50, and have been traded in a 52-week range of $27.40 to $38.47.
