Coca-Cola to Display Nutritional Data on Vending Machines and 1 Hot Stock Sparking Chatter

Richard Shim, an analyst at NPD display search, says Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) is tying up with Samsung (SSNLF.PK)  to create a 10-inch, high-end tablet that will have a display resolution which is better than Apple’s third generation iPad. According to CNET, Shim has drawn conclusions from indications through supply chains.

Beverage makers Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO), PepsiCo (NYSE:PEP), and Dr. Pepper Snapple (NYSE:DPS) announced an initiative to display calorie counts on vending machines from next year. Sceptic critics, however, say the move is intended to avoid special taxes and other regulation that may be imposed by cities such as New York City who are pressing to limit the consumption of fattening foods and drinks.
