Chrysler Strikes Agreement with CAW and 2 Morning Hot Stocks Trading Now

Chrysler struck a new four-year labour agreement with the Canadian Auto Workers union that broadly followed the contours of the agreements hammered out by GM (NYSE:GM) and Ford (NYSE:F). The development avoids a strike and completes negotiations in Canada by the three top US car makers. At a news conference, CAW President Ken Lewenza said, “We feel good about this collective agreement. We feel damn good about Chrysler.”

An interactive TV watch app called Zeebox will be launched in the US today. The app combines program guide information of about 150 US channels along with other programming data including social interaction such as Facebook and Twitter, and could be used on Android, Apple and web browsing devices. ”This becomes really your all-in-one-app to use while you are watching TV,” according to Anthony Rose, Zeebox co-founder and chief technology officer. An alliance of Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA), NBCUniversal, and HBO (NYSE:TWX) is reportedly supporting the app.
