Standard Pacific Corp. (NYSE:SPF) reported Q4 net income of $15.3M, or 4c per diluted share, which beat analyst expectations of no earnings for the quarter. Q4 revenues of $293.16M outpaced Fact Set’s consensus estimate of $204.5M. The company reported 615 net new orders, up 44%, and a backlog of 681 homes, which was up 64% and represented its highest year-end backlog since 2007. Shares surged following the report, up 71c, or 17.53%, to $4.76 in morning trading.

The shares closed at $4.67, up $0.62, or 15.31%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $926.86 million.

REGAL-BELOIT CORPORATION (NYSE:RBC): Sees continued strength from mechanical businesses and Unico in Q1. Sees continued softness in residential HVAC applications.

The shares closed at $66.00, up $4.28, or 6.93%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $2.74 billion.

TransDigm Group Inc. (NYSE:TDG): Raises FY12 revenue view to $1.47B-$1.51B vs. consensus $1.47B. Prior guidance was $5.35-$5.67 on $1.43B-$1.47B in revenue.

The shares closed at $113.82, up $6.4, or 5.96%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $5.73 billion.

The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA): Japan Airlines (JALSY) said it doesn’t expect its first Dreamliner 787 from Boeing (NYSE:BA) by the end of the month because of new manufacturing problems, reports Reuters. JAL ordered 35 of the aircraft and is now in talks for a possible March delivery.

The shares closed at $75.20, down $0.26, or 0.34%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $56.00 billion.

Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE:LMT): Though Ford (NYSE:F) examined a possible joint bid with Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) and Future Force, the automaker has decided not to participate in a new Pentagon competition to replace the military’s fleet of Humvee vehicles, Reuters reports. Navistar (NYSE:NAV) and Oshkosh (NYSE:OSK) have expressed interest in the contest, as have BAE Systems (BAESY), Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) and General Dynamics (NYSE:GD).

The shares closed at $86.63, up $1.38, or 1.62%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $27.82 billion.
