LMI Aerospace, Inc. (NASDAQ:LMIA): The Pentagon will announce today that it will seek specialized robots that can work in disaster zones while operating tools and vehicles, The New York Times reported yesterday. The Pentagon will hold a competition in order to select such robots, the newspaper said.

CECO Environmental Corp. (NASDAQ:CECE): CECO Environmental announced that it has recently received several new orders totaling $4.3M. The new orders include five from U.S. customers in the aluminum, chemical, power and refining industries and two from customers in China and Canada for the petrochem and power industries.
The shares closed at $8.24, up $0.11, or 1.35%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $119.61 million.
Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT): Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT) has built or updated 15 facilities and added tens of thousands of workers in the last two years in the U.S., and is now in the process of building another $200M factory in Victoria, Texas, as part of its big, sustained bet that the U.S. economic recovery will continue, according to Reuters.
The shares closed at $100.43, down $3.14, or 3.03%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $65.03 billion.
Deere & Company (NYSE:DE): In its latest World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, the United States Department of Agriculture lowered its 2011/12 global wheat supplies forecast by 0.5M tons and raised its view of global wheat consumption by 2.8M tons on higher expected feed and residual usage. Projected ranges for the season-average corn and sorghum farm prices were both narrowed 10c on each end to $6.00-$6.40 and $5.90-$6.30 per bushel, respectively. Global coarse grain supplies for 2011/12 are projected 4.3M tons lower and global corn production is seen as nearly unchanged.
The shares closed at $76.51, down $2.94, or 3.7%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $30.74 billion.
