The Boeing Co. (NYSE:BA): Current price $105.66

Boeing Shares are up almost 3 percent on Monday, after an inquiry into a fire on a 787 Dreamliner at London Heathrow did not blame the plane’s batteries. On Friday, speculation about the fire had pressed shares down by 4.7 percent, relieving Boeing’s market value of $3.8 billion. Analyst Peter Arment at Sterne Agee & Leach Inc. wrote in a research note that, ”Thankfully the British authorities have ruled out the batteries as a cause of the fire.” On Saturday, the United Kingdom’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch said that it found no evidence that the fire was caused by the batteries.
