American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) is among a group of companies who, in December 2010, blocked the processing of donations for WikiLeaks with Visa Europe (NYSE:V) and MasterCard Europe (NYSE:MA) being the others. However, the European Commission says the moves were unlikely to have violated EU anti-trust rules, according to Reuters. It is anticipated that the Commission will examine new information from DataCell, which collects donations for WikiLeaks, before it makes a final decision.

Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) is among ConocoPhillips’ (NYSE:COP) several partners in Kazakhstan’s Kashagan field that have 60 days in which to decide if they want an 8.4 percent interest in the project promised to India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corp., reports Reuters. ConocoPhillips will divest its Kashagan stake to ONGC Videsh, the Indian group’s overseas investment unit, for approximately $5 billion. However, the existing partners in the project, including the state-run KazMunaiGas, Eni (EI), Inpex Corp. of Japan, Royal Dutch Shell (NYSE:RDSA) and Total (NYSE:TOT), have right of first refusal on the stake.
