Bing SOARS Over Google as Ford Reports EXCITING Results

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT): Though comScore’s latest data show Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) holding its own in the U.S., Experian, Hitwise and Compete search figures show Google has lost users to Bing (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Yahoo (YHOO – powered by Bing). According to Hitwise, Google’s U.S. share decreased 309 bps year over year in May falling to 65%, but Bing-powered engine shares increased 133 bps year over year to 28.1%. While Google continues to add semantic info to its results, Bing agressively adds social networking content.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has decreased the amount of energy needed to produce a vehicle in its manufacturing facilities by 22% within the last six years, according to its annual Sustainability Report. Reductions in use of water, waste-to-landfill, CO2 emissions, and vehicle fuel economy and safety improvements are some of Ford’s other successful initiatives.
