First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSLR): Germany plans to reduce its subsidies for solar power by 20.2%-29% beginning on March 9, the country’s environment minister said, according to Bloomberg. Plants supplying more than ten megawatts of power won’t receive any support from the country after July 1, the news service added. The shares closed at $37.20, down $3.25, or 8.03%. They have traded in a 52-week range of $29.87 to $168.74.
GrafTech International Ltd. (NYSE:GTI): The company said, “We expect that the first quarter will be our weakest with EBITDA targeted to be in the range of $35 million to $45 million due primarily to the low steel production rates in the fourth quarter causing customers to carry extra graphite electrode inventory into the first quarter of 2012.” The shares closed at $13.25, down $2.17, or 14.07%. They have traded in a 52-week range of $12.11 to $23.63.
Polypore International, Inc. (NYSE:PPO): The company said, “The global trends remain positive in all of our businesses and the long-term demand drivers remain intact. We began to experience some headwinds in Q4, which will impact near-term results. We would expect Q1results to be below 4Q11 sequentially, yet we anticipate full year growth and we remain focused on building our business for the long term.” The shares closed at $38.61, down $4.91, or 11.28%. They have traded in a 52-week range of $36.60 to $74.21.
NII Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:NIHD): The OIBDA outlook also included the impact of start up costs related to the development and launch of the Company’s planned W-CDMA networks and costs to support related initiatives, including investments in brand, expansion of distribution channels, and IT and back office systems. The shares closed at $21.21, down $2.3, or 9.78%. They have traded in a 52-week range of $18.82 to $44.21.
HomeAway, Inc. (NASDAQ:AWAY): Reported Q4 revenue $58.5M, consensus $58.19M. The shares closed at $24.01, down $2.04, or 7.83%. They have traded in a 52-week range of $30.07 to $45.75.
