AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) has reported a $0.44 per share dividend on AT&T’s common shares. The dividend will be payable on August 1, 2012 to stockholder of record by the close of business on July 10, 2012.  The shares traded up $0.16 (0.45%) recently at $35.55.

Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE:S): A U.S. appeals court vacated a $17.5M settlement because the accord does not do enough to protect class members who would not sue.  The shares traded down $0.01 (0.31%) recently at $3.255.

Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ), who invests in 80 underwater cable systems, as well as a U.S. energy companies industry group have teamed with President Barack Obama’s administration to support a global maritime accord. The shares traded up $0.36 (0.82%) recently at $44.33.

Vodafone Group plc (NASDAQ:VOD) underperforms following Jefferies’ downgrade of the shares to Hold due to Michael Combes’, Vodafone Euro ops head, backtrack on plans to become Vivendi’s (VIVHY.PK) SFR phone division head because he feels like he has little chance of succeeding. Yesterday, Vivendi announced the resignation of CEO Jean-Bertrand Levy as a result of differences with the board. The shares traded down $0.04 (0.14%) recently at $28.17.

Level 3 Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:LVLT) received five best-in-class ATLANTIC-ACM Carrier Excellence Awards because of its Business Connectivity and Wireless Business Excellence. Last night, leading telecommunications research company ATLANTIC-ACM announced the award at a ceremony located at the Yale Club in New York City. The awards are decided by 2012 Business Connectivity results and Wireless Business Report Cards from customers, who are able to rate carriers in categories like key product and service based on nearly 3,800 ratings from individual carriers. The shares traded up $0.91 (4.30%) recently at $21.07.
