AT&T Teams Up to Fight Cyber Threats and 4 Telecom Titans Attracting Interest

Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE:LMT), AT&T Inc., and CenturyLink Inc. (NYSE:CTL), have been the first companies that have signed up for a U.S. program that will provide them classified information concerning cyber threats that are able to be packaged as security services for sale to other companies. The Pentagon provides the classified threat signatures to the Department of Homeland Security, which then presents them to companies that have been approved to receive this information, stated Eric Rosenbach, the deputy assistant secretary of defense for cyber policy, via interview. Additional companies have become interested in participating in the program, he added.
