Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) is the largest bank in Massachusetts, and it intends to shutter four additional branches in the state during March, including one near Boston City Hall, which has been the most recent closing. The bank has been the process of downsizing its network of branches spanning the country, and it has said that it plans to close its offices at 3 Center Plaza in Boston, One Chace Road (Crossroads Common) in Freetown, 181 Court St. in Plymouth, and 3065 North Main St. in Springfield. It will also close the drive-up window Main Street branch in Westfield. During recent years, the bank has closed dozens of banks in the state.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has been awarded a patent covering the way SIM cards are able to be easily be replaced or removed in a device. This patent will cover various methods to insert a SIM card, such as the “plunger system,” in which a user pushes on a plunger rod which ejects the SIM card.

Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) owned Instagram service is being sued by a user because of its revised terms of service, GIGAom reports. The plaintiff has objected to to Instagram’s claim that it will own the rights to her photos following the cancellation of her profile, a portion of the lawsuit quoted by the website stated.
AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) will end its agreement with Motricity, which will send the company’s stock reeling. According to GeekWire, Motricity stock declined by over a third on Monday following the company’s announcement. The portal agreement with AT&T made up 42 percent of Motricity’s revenue during the first nine months of 2012, reports GeekWire.
Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) has begun to work on a Windows tablet that will be released early next year, claim a number of reports. This information comes from The Verge’s Tom Warren, who has stated that the 10-inch tablet will have a special battery-powered cover that is able to provide extra battery life.
