Source: FoxSports.comApple (NASDAQ:AAPL) users will once again have the option to watch the biggest sports event of the year on their iOS-based devices, reports Apple Insider. Fox has the broadcast rights to Super Bowl XLVIII and will make a free live stream of the game available at foxsportsgo.com, including the halftime show featuring Bruno Mars.

However, users of Apple’s iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch will also have the option to watch the game on their mobile devices if they download the FoxSportsGo mobile app for iOS. The app is available for free via the iTunes App Store. Users of the iOS app are required to sign in with their TV provider credentials.

The FoxSportsGo mobile app is currently partnered with six TV providers. However, the company noted that “we’re working hard to add new TV providers every day.” The current FoxSportsGo app partners are AT&T (NYSE:T) U-verse, Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) (NASDAQ:CMCSK) XFINITY, Midcontinent Communications, Optimum, Suddenlink, and WOW!
