Apple Is Dishing Out NEW Software Goodies

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is not waiting for its operating system upgrade to launch its brand new in-house iOS app. Podcasts, launched on Tuesday, offers a wide selection of free audio and video podcasts organized by topic. The free app requires iOS 5.1 or later, and supports all devices up from iPhone 3GS, the fourth-generation iPod Touch, and the first iPad. Apple describes the app as being “the easiest way to discover, subscribe to and play your favorite podcasts on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.”
